Jamila Nahhat came to Canada, along with her family, in 2016. Being able to go to school was one of the best feelings of her life, she said, she’s now continuing her education to ultimately care for people.
“Please help them because they are doctors, they are engineers, they are dentists … they have a lot of experience. USA and Canada can use [that].”
The federal government is planning a massive increase in the number of immigrants entering Canada, with a goal of bringing in 500,000 people in 2025.
